Senior Accountant

Job Description:
The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. This position requires extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, as well as the ability to lead and mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate and lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
  • 1 year+ of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Expertise in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
